Privacy notice
Last updated October 26, 2026
Pilahan is a booking and walk-in line service for shops in the Philippines. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission.
What we collect
- Customers: your name and mobile number, and your email if you give it. The shop may also ask a few questions it needs, like your pet's name or your car's plate number.
- Shop owners and staff: your name, email, and the shop details you enter.
- Your phone: if you choose "Remember my details on this phone", your name and mobile number stay in your browser only.
Why we use it
- To book your visit or keep your spot in the line, and to tell the shop who's coming.
- To send booking confirmations and reminders, if you gave an email or allowed notifications.
- To give the shop its records: visits, Suki card stamps and sales.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for ads.
Who can see it
Only the shop you book with, and the people who work there. Others in the walk-in line see only your first name and last initial, like "Mark S."
How long we keep it
As long as the shop uses Pilahan, or until you ask to delete it. A shop owner can delete a customer's data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how it's used. Ask the shop, or contact us at [privacy contact email]. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
